Winter Dream

Image
Hello dear readers and Rubber Dance fans!  Olga here with you today and I will try to inspire you for your new amazing creations.  This time I come to you with a new a little vintage winter card "Winter DREAM". We all have dreams and I wish all yours will come true! When I created this card I was very inspired by the new Da Vinci set of stamps. They are SO COOL! For this card I used gesso, fabric, acryl paints and some sweet embellishments. I also crochet two snowflakes for this project. For the backround I used the stamp with the art defition and you also can see pieces of vintage book pages, I wanted to add this stamp to make the whole composition more interesting. Then I used another stamp with the word DREAM and cut it from the paper. After that I covered this word with gesso, texture paste and very pretty snowy glitter. Then I completed my card with embellishments and now you can see the result .  I hope that you will like my card an

Rock Carvings Rock!

Hi there, my dear friends of Rubber Dance! I am Gabriele from Art-a-tag and I am a Mixed Media artist from Germany. Very nice to see you again!! Now lets go to the next step of our wonderful journey using the fantastic new Rubber Dance stamps.  OMG! I am still breathless, when I think of it! I WAS IN NORWAY VISITING BIBI LINDAHL OF RUBBER DANCE!!! Many times we talked about how nice it would be coming together and we were making plans and dreamed. After many dreams my desire became stronger than my laziness and I bought myself a ticket and took off. To Norway, where I wanted to go to for so many years! Now I did it and I really felt a dream come true. I have been in contact with Bibi for some time and got to know her quite well, but meeting in person is something else for sure. Being a designer for her Rubber Dance stamps gave it an extra interest to see the place where she creates all these lovely things. We decided to make a special spread with some special stamps and also show

Around the World with Rubber Dance

Image
Hello my dear crafty friends! It's Irit here today and I welcome you to my small "Around the world" trip! I am a very addicted traveller: I never really counted each and every country I visited as some of them were one united country when I first visited there and then became like 7 different countries in Europe. But as a preliminary count I think it's like 55 countries around 4 continents. But then I am in love with Europe and for sure London, Paris and Venice are 'must see' places. So with Rubber Dance most gorgeous Travel stamp set you can visit all three of my favourites in a second, just from viewing my travel banner. I made the bottom triangle in the same way for all three of my banner pieces: Stamping the Road Map background with clear embossing ink, heat embossing with black powder and inking with a mix of my favorite distress inks. The inner banner was dedicated to each of those three places and had the parts of globe stamp, some

Stamped Autumn Leaves Card

Image
Hello everyone! Susanne Rose here to share an autumn card with you that is created with the gorgeous leaf stamps by Rubber Dance Art Stamps. I really love these stamps. They are so versatile and absolutely beautiful. Watch the Video to see how I created this card: Some close-ups. Notice the naturalistic looking details of these stamped leaves! Here's an idea you can use with sentiment stamps: The original sentiment is longer than the part I've used. I used the Stamper's Big Brush Pen and only inked up the words I wanted to stamp. I hope you enjoyed the video and have fun creating with these awesome stamps! Have a nice day! xx Susanne . The stamps I used are from   Rubber Dance

Da Vinci Triptych by Katy

Image
Promised I would show you how I created the papers for this triptych featuring Da Vinci stamp set from Rubber Dance. So here we go! I aged my own paper using totally natural dyes; here's how: Step 1: Stamp images in Archival or other waterproof ink onto ordinary copier paper. Steep a teabag in hot water and when it has cooled a little, wipe the teabag over the paper. Apply fairly randomly. Allow to dry at least partially. Step 2: Squeeze a lemon to get some juice. Take up the juice with a paintbrush and flick the lemon juice onto the tea-stained paper. Also add some larger areas with the brush. Step 3: Heat the paper - you may need to heat it for some time to get the juice to 'burn'. You can see here that the light spatters bleach out the tea and the larger areas burn to create 'aged' splotches. This is a great way to age paper that uses items everyone has at home.  Step 4: The Triple Arch frame (which is by  Tando Creative ) is embo
